Alan,
Hey man. I gotta problem for you and since you're the go to nerd, I'm going to you. I'm trying to download videos off of YouTube. As in... keep the actual video file. I've had pretty good luck by just going to my cached internet data, finding the file, and adding the extension .flv. However it seems that some vids... maybe 1/5 aren't cached in my temporary internet files. I can find the file in my Temp folder but I can't copy/paste it to another folder while the browser is open. And then the file is deleted when the browser closes. Do you know how to 1) make my browser cache that file 2) make a copy of that file while the browser is open OR 3) make my browser not delete that file when it closes? Here's an example to play with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7G1eLTV89dM where the video doesn't get cached. Here's an example of where it does http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nMHGyR_i8g . Any help is awesome! Any non-help is okay too. You're the man now, dog.
Jeff

Posted by: April at August 20, 2007 12:37 PMHi guys. A tactical retreat is not a bad response to a surprise assault, you know. First you survive. Then you choose your own ground. Then you counterattack.
I am from Maldives and now teach English, tell me right I wrote the following sentence: "Later, in the civil target, tank is returned to be resulting barksdale take stars."
Thanks ;-). Sloane.
