a ham, a yam, a yamaha

Now that I'm rolling in the dough I finally made a big purchase, one that's been in the works for a while: a keyboard. Here she is, my new Yamaha P60. It has weighted keys that approximate the action of a real piano. Has a pretty full piano sound too for an electronic.

Yamaha P60

Like a needy girlfriend, I can already tell she's gonna demand that I spend all my free time with her. :)

What a baby, Alan.
How about "reaction" feature?

:)

Oh the reaction feature is mine, when I finally sat down and played *my own piano with no one around* my reaction was "ahhhhhhhhh." Too many years of paranoia always wondering if somebody's behind my back listening, getting irritated with my mistakes, or wishing I would play something different. Even in UNL's practice rooms I couldn't totally be myself with my piano...I should have done lots of technical exercises but for some reason felt like I always had to impress people, esp. in Westbrook where someone's usually working on a concerto next door. But now that I have my own that era is over. It's a good feeling indeed. :)

Hey, springgrass, it's summer!
